WANTED: Dog - Exeter, MO I’ve always loved the bulldog breed; that chubby loyal slobbering stocky wrinkled mass of a “lapdog”, that demands one's attention. My beloved companion dog Hollingsworths Maximus , an 8 year old special needs purebred white English Bulldog we found on Monett Freecycle 6 years ago, passed away in July 2013. I know there will never be another dog like him, Max could never be replaced, and after all he was family – my 5th son. I have way too much love in the empty spaces of my heart that desires the embrace of a dog. I’m looking for another companion dog, preferably another bulldog, which needs lots of; attention, cuddles, hugs, love (SPOILED), toys & treats and an acre to run around on. Best if he/she tolerates an occasional cat, children & pets (chickens, dogs, rabbits, etc). Special needs OK, papers not needed, male or female, any size (reg or mini), any variety bulldog (NO PITBULLS), the more wrinkles the better, and even a bulldog mix would be ok. I have over 30 years experience with the high maintenance care and cost of larger breeds; like an English Bulldog - with its extensive health issues. I can update the shots, micro chip and neuter or spay him/her too if needed. If you have or know someone who has a bulldog {disabled, no longer breed-able, one dog household, etc is ok}.
