Wanted: Wanted any unwanted RC items

Wanted any RC parts as I am looking to build from scratch a large fixed winged aeroplane with my son so he can use his hands to create things other than using his fingers and thumbs to work a PS4. He is willing for now. We have some useful parts but require unwanted useful items as we intend to not only make a propeller powered 1m plus wingspan plane and/or a jet powered(Electric fan motored) replica Tornado aircraft. I was an engineer once when working full time making components using CNC machinery for the aerospace industry including the Harrier Jump jet/Tornado/Buccaneer and Challenger tanks for the MOD and NATO. My son is keen to learn and I hope he will continue his current interest in all mechanicals things. All items considered as the motors in fans, small household electrical items or battery drills/tools etc have useful electronics that can operate wing ailerons/tail rudder/undercarriage retracts or control motor speeds. Servos and speed controllers are very useful and found in many household items along with plastic gears and levers. I hope he will see that things do not have to go to landfill and he will get pleasure from building and playing with them.
