Wanted: Urgently needed for children living in poverty Equipment and clothes

We are having a collection for Wood Street Mission . A charity that helps children living in poverty They are in desperate need of used clean clothes for babies and children up to the age of 18 Used toys..book.. and games are always very welcome too Used bedding also cot blankets and old clean towels. Toiletries shower gel soap ect They also need used baby equipment Cots…Moses baskets.. Baby baths..Baby chairs…Trolleys,Strollers Prams ect This amazing charity only provide for the very very needy. Everyone who goes there for help has been referred by either Social Workers…Schools...Social services ect They are awarded points that reflect their needs. Then they can choose from the donations the things they so desperately need for their babies and children. No money changes hands everything is given for free For example if a single Mum is referred and she has 50 points awarded. She could get a Moses Basket for 25 points 5 Baby Grows for 5 points Cot Blankets and Clothes to make up the points. I am sure you will agree this is an amazing charity. If you think you can help in any way Please get in touch Wood Street Mission collect from me every Thursday morning Drop off point for donations is in Heald Green . Sorry but I cannot pick up. The Mission cannot accept electrical items...furniture...or soft toys teddies ect for hygiene reasons.
