Wanted: Telescope

Hello, does anyone have an unwanted telescope for my son please? It doesn’t have to be fancy.. He is reluctantly having to move into an attic room and I need to persuade him that he can look at the stars through a velux. He’s always wanted a telescope, but a long time to wait until Christmas.
