Wanted: Scrap Steel for Welding Project / Bench Vice / Anvil

All the details

My 16 year old son, has saved up and brought himself a welder, although we are short of items for him to practice on. If you have any old scrap steel, tubing, bike cogs, old metal tools spanners etc, anything really he could weld together, it would be appreciated. We are not scrap metal dealers and will not be selling the metal on, any odd bits which are not required will go to the tip. Just for welding practice only. Also he is looking for a bench vice and an anvil if possible. Many Thanks
