I am a computer repair technician who had a unplanned major medical event that has left me living in a Skilled Nursing Home in San Rafael, 94903 it is incredible that even with very high end medical insurance how just one big nasty medical event can leave anyone broke for the rest of their life like most of my fellow residents. I am offering to fix or return to usability with today modern web and applications your older, old and not working laptops or netbooks, and depending on what is damaged old tablets and smart cell phones. In exchange for any old, older, not working or just can not use it on the modern web and applications laptops, netbooks, tablets, or some smart phones that have you upgraded from. As I said I live in a Skilled Nursing Home here in East Terra Linda, San Rafael and only a few long term patients here have any way to get onto the internet. Our facilities owners nicely do provide reasonable speed and bandwidth internet for free. I am making this offer to try and get some devices to get more of them on the internet. Since early March the State of California Department of Public Health has issued temporary emergency orders that restrict any nursing home patient in any type of nursing home from leaving our facilities, except for necessary medical appointments or procedures ie: Kidney Dialysis, MRI's like these. They are just rotting in their bedrooms where we were restricted to only until Two weeks ago and most likely will be re-restricted to again with the growing number of Covid19 infections every week. I can take your old laptop that is soo slow and will not even get on the internet, put a free operating system on it that will allow them to go online, watch videos, exchange emails with friends and family, and many other activities of modern connected life. I can do the same for some of your older laptops just sitting in a drawer or worse in a box in the garage or storage unit. I can repair battery packs, and do all kinds of things to bring those old Electronic highly hazardous waste and make it usable. sometimes a cell phone or tablet or even laptops become dead from a battery, I can change them even in sealed units. As far as can I really get your computer fixed, even broken screens just for the actual cost of the screen no labor it is exchanged with something of no value to you. If there are parts that need to be purchased I send you the owner a link to the best price, from very reliable vendors some in Main Land China, and Indonesia. You buy the part and have it shipped to me. Of course if you want it repaired and it needs parts quickly we can always buy from someone who had to buy it over there and them has it in their U.S. warehouse for a substantially higher price, it is always your choice. I have been an ownership partner from startup, and successfully sold Two fairly large computer repair shops. I have been in forced retirement for over Five and a half years.
