Wanted: Electric mower that'll cut fairly high, or hover.

Behind my fence is a long, long stretch of farmer's field which I want to keep trimmed to stop the weeds encroaching on my garden, but don't want to compromise the cut of my garden's lawn mower. Hoping to find an old but usable electric mower that I can use just for this area, if anyone has one they don't want any more. Thank you.
