Wanted: Compaion dog

Looking for a 5 or 6 year old dog that has mellow tempermen and good around kids and other folks not a barker or cat chaser, lost my service dog 2 years ago and need one can train it to become replacement... hopefully not a dog that sneaks out to find kids to play with! Thats how mine got hit looking for kids when I was getting her food for her!
