Wanted: Child safety/stair gate

If anyone has a safety gate they are no longer using we would love to put it to good use. We need to stay at my mother-in-laws frequently at the moment as she is unwell, but it is quite dangerous for our little 2 year old as she has stairs and he is not used to these as we live in a flat.
