Wanted: Cat for a disabled young man

I have a 50-year old disabled son - Timothy. He loves animals but recently his cat died. He lives in a secure supported flat in London with no garden and a very major 'rat run' road outside. I have spent the last YEAR trying all the cat 'services both near him and near me. They will only supply a 'garden cat'?! It is essential the cat is mature (say 3+) and a 'HOME CAT' ie. one that does not want to go out. Tim's disability means he seldom leaves his flat so any cat would be his life-long and much loved companion. If you have one or know of one I will travel any reasonable distance in England or Wales to check and collect. Timothy has a weekly carer and a cleaner so any cat would be well looked after.
