Wanted: Book shelf

Hi guys, I'm new here and as a broke student I'm desperate for a bookshelf, preferably one that has a shelf big enough for my records. Please help me as my books are piled on top of each other and I'm sick of picking them up after they frequently fall over. Cant be wider than 2 foot though due to limited space, but the taller the better. Or an old chest of drawers would do as I could continue my bookshelf search and place it on top, as the only spare space I have is behind my sofa so the first 3/4 foot can't be seen. Please , please help a broke student with a love of books and records that have taken over my house. I really am falling over my feet dodging records and books, so why not put the alcove to good use. Thanks guys, any book shelf no wider than 2 foot will do, I'm sure I can improvise and create something out of something I have laying around. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks :) xx x
