Wanted: Any books thrillers/ detective/ historic etc

I am looking for the books to give in to worthing hospital for patients. i visit a lady of 80 who has been in hospital almost 3 months and is waithing to be moved up north to be with her son. as the days are long she reads a lot and all the books taken to her are then passed on to the other patients. the nurses asked if we could do this when she has read them so any books for these patients would be nice to read as it is a long day in hospital i could collect if within the worthing area thank you
