Responding to free items offered

If you request an item, and the poster offers it to you, pleaae respond to their emails. If you are unable to collect item, or simply change your mind, the person offering the item is not a mind reader and you need to let them know that they can offer to next in line. Someone recently requested a bag of soft toys from me, and I asked when they would like to pick it up. No answer. I sent another message asking if they still wanted the item. No answer. It would have taken less than 5 minutes to send me a message saying that they had changed their mind, so I would have known not to expect them. It's just common courtesy!
