Salamander shower pump

CT50XTRA part no. M250W 230V MAX .5 BAR. I bought this pump a while ago and had it fitted. only just found out why it wasnt working properly for my shower. I could have a shower but it kept taking ages to come on and sometimes not powerful enough. thought it was broken but was told i bought wrong pump and i needed a negative one to do with gravity. so rather then throw it, thought it would come in handy if anyone needs one.
