Believe 400W bulb, certainly very bright, useful for temporary lighting, glass is not cracked, it's just the reflector behind the glass that looks like a crack. Currently works OK, does not need new bulb. It appears you can still get the bulbs, despite the ban on high wattage lamps. I found a pair very easily on Amazon for £3.50 which look the correct ones.
