This shower booster unit has twin matched pump units (for hot + cold water) mounted on a common baseplate, each with an automatic flow switch that turns on both pumps simultaneously. It has had many years of use but was still in full working order when removed as part of a bathroom refurbishment. The pump units could be separated, or by appropriate plumbing (e.g. connecting the pumps in series) be adapted to a different purpose.
