Laptop: Advent L8400

I was given an old laptop to dispose of. It is an Advent L8400 and it probably runs a form of Linux (if anything). It looks OK from the outside but I could not test it because it did not have a power supply. The label states that a normal 19V 50W laptop power suppy should work. For the avoidance of doubt: it is untested, untried and does not have a power supply. L
