Dust mite proof, water repellant (also says 100% waterproof), anti allergenic, reduces risk of asthma. Brand new, only opened to try on bed but as with all waterproof covers it's got a sort of plasticky feel. Bought it to protect mattress generally but better suited to someone with risk of bed getting wet from pets/kids.
