Is this specific to a certain brand, or capacity, or ? I'm going to pick up a used hot tub next week, and I think it may need this part to work again. (Not sure, because I haven't looked closely yet.) Thank you for your consideration!

I dont know. It was available and a friends pump had died so I grabbed this one for him. He already had gotten one and I was left with this one. I would think you could compare amps on the bad one and this one. It's free so you're not out a lot.
