Tan microfiber. VERY comfortable. Seats 6 . Couch is about 10 years old and we do have kids and dogs. However, cushion covers are washable. 2 of the covers' zippers are broken, but they can be closed with safety pins and are out of sight. It looks to be in good condition when washed.
