Fire Wood/Old Timbers

This item is in Henley-on-Thames GB

All the details

We have just replaced the deck at the River Rowing Museum and have the old timbers available for collection. This wood is of varying quality and not for structural works – it would be good for firewood for example once dried – or other garden projects. Please contact us if you would like to come and collect for free, All wood must be collected by 17th May as we prepare for reopening. Please contact Lucinda via lucinda.hill@rrm.co.uk to make an appointment to collect.

Not a question but an important comment. If this was external decking timber, then it will be tanalised and that treatment is toxic if burnt, so this must not be used for firewood. It probably would be extremely good for making raised beds, etc. All the best for finding them a good new home. Cheers, Tim
