Hi, some time ago I contacted you regarding your kind offer of an 'Indoor electric wheelchair'. I understood at the time that you would not making any decisions regarding this matter until July. I am wondering whether this is still the case or if the wheelchair has already gone? My life long 75 year old elderly friend who suffers from degenerative Parkinsons is unfortunately a little worse from the time of my last writing and still has no way of moving about so I would greatly appreciate knowing what the situation is and whether you might still consider him as being the recipient of the wheelchair to help him. I could pick up any time at your convenience but I do not want to mention this possibility to him until I know your decision to save him disappointment. Thank you for your time. Hello Unfortunately unless you charge them for 24 hours at least once a week then batteries lose the ability to hold charge. I bought one sone time ago and learnt that. I couldn't afford New batteries so ended up giving it back but if you look at the cost of the battery for the model and compare prices online it's well worth purchasing a new battery Which will fix the problem and it will be good as new. Hope this is helpful in some way
