Adaptors and plug sockets cant be used in wet rooms. These have been the electrical regulations for many years. It needs to be rewired to a switch outside room or on pull cord switch inside. Does not need IP rating for other rooms :) Glad you agree

All electrical appliance in bathrooms need plugging in outside the bathroom. There should not be any sockets inside a bathroom. This aplience is designed for bathrooms.
