Young cockerel free to a good home/farmyard. Reared from a chick our hope is this would turn into an egg bearing chicken, but it is a cockerel and starting to annoy the neighbours with its morning call. It's not an aggressive cockerel but needs a home in the country or with understanding neighbours. Pickup required. Bring a suitable container to carry him away in.

Could you not take it to Raystede, near Lewes? I worry the poor thing could end up being abused or eaten. Being described as 'an item' is not very nice.

I totally agree. Let's hope the lovely boy gets an honest home if not, a sanctury is the best bet!
