Bluebell Chicken

The Bluebell is a large fowl chicken with plumage shaded blue and grey. Crossed between a Rhode Island Red and a Marans chicken they are capable of laying 260 eggs a year. Their eggs are a wonderful pink brown colour. Hens are docile, but might not enjoy being picked up. Bluebell is 18 months old approx and lays 6 days a week. Sadly her pal died of old age 2 weeks ago and we are looking for a new home for her as we are moving into rented accommodation and won't be able to take her. Attached is a photo of her with our dog Louis, unfortunately Louis is not available. Please do not call us if you do not have chickens and you must have a least one hen to keep her company (they are social animals) and she must be kept in a safe environment - we'd hate for the foxes to get her!!
