Hi I have a baby safety gate with a metal handle on top so can open a walk through. Then locks behind you , it's hardly been used as bought it for my little dog when moved house last June as she was scared of using a new staircase so I went out and bought a safety gate it was used for around 6 weeks it's spotlessly clean to anyone that needs one your welcome to take it
