UNOMAT SVR-40 PHOTO & VIDEO TRIPOD This is a very solid and unusually versatile 4-section photographic tripod, with a wide range of features. Although it has been used, it still has the original plastic wrapping to the upper sections! 1 Removable “Fluid Tension” pan & tilt head with calibrated traverse, square quick release plate (allowing rapid 90° changes to the camera orientation), spring/retracting camera location pin, pivoting camera base (for rapid 90° changes between ‘landscape’ and ‘portrait’ shots) and built-in spirit level. Single control knob for both pan & tilt, allowing easy/rapid adjustments. 2 Rising/adjustable centre column (’elevator’) with adjustable tension (to accommodate cameras of different weights) and a further screw fitting to the bottom, allowing the head to alternatively be mounted under the tripod – super for vertical copying/macro photography and also stable very low angle shots. 3 4-section, braced, extending legs with quick release clamps and rubber feet. An unusual feature is that the angle of the legs is adjustable, via a lockable/friction screw to the junction between the leg braces and centre column. 4 When in ‘table tripod’ mode (1st photo, with legs fully retracted) the camera platform is approx. 47cm high. 5 When the tripod has all leg sections fully extended (and also at their widest angle), the camera platform is approx.109cm high with the centre column fully retracted and approx. 138cm high when the centre column is fully extended. Some additional height can be obtained by reducing the outward splay of the legs.
