The Gleaners (Des glaneuses) is an oil painting by Jean-François Millet completed in 1857. It depicts three peasant women gleaning a field of stray stalks of wheat after the harvest. No room for this beautiful picture in my new home. Frame has been left as bought, markings on frame as shown in photos, leaf detail in corners, authentic looking even though it is reproduction. Oil paint cracking detail. Picture light is electric complete with 2 LED bulbs and plug, but can be hard wired to your lighting circuit by a qualified electrician.
