This is a superb saucepan (from Robert Dyas) and has a transparent glass lid with non heat handle on top for you to hold while draining the pan with the lid still on (there are grids on each side of the pan), only used once to heat water before storing in a drawer. Designed to distribute heat evenly over the whole pan. Internally it shows measurements up to 2 litres. It's 10cm high without the lid. The symbols on the base show for induction / gas / electric / ceramic / halogen hobs. £7 cash (was £28 new), collect from North London, NW11, between Golders Green and Finchley Central, buses nearby, free to park outside.
