2001 (51 plate) Rover 75 Tourer 2ltr Diesel in Silver with Chrome Trim MOT until 18th October 2021. We have had this car for 4 years or so, driven by a pensioner in that time, it starts and drives well and as it should, great runner, starts first tome every time since we had this and never let us down starting. It has a highly polished wooden dashboard, with a stereo system that includes a fm/am radio and a cassette player (if you can remember them?) it also has a 10-auto cassette CD system installed in the glove box. It also has Alloy wheels, Roof rails It keeps good levels and never uses oil or water, when we do the weekly top up the only thing that needs topping is the screen washer, it’s that good. Serviced and maintained regularly, lots of papers and receipts. All the lights etc work. Has had new front springs, clutch, steering alignment, tyres Tyre City, over the last year or two. Tyres are very good all bar one, the others are under replacement insurance at Tyre City, but have plenty of tread and life in them, with a safety spare tyre, also with plenty of tread on. The mile-ometer shows 99999 but we bought it with this fault, and it causes no problems and there’s still plenty of miles in this old girl. It’s still got loads of pull, much more than we care to use when driving, so it will move when you want it to and serve you well. All 5 doors open with no issues. It also features a small glass door within the tailgate door, that saves having to open the whole boot area for a small package etc. All 4 passenger doors have electric windows that work well. If you don’t know the Rover 75 series, its engine and running gear etc is made by BMW, if you do know, you know it’s a great car. These were somewhat an executive car in their day. I would say all this car needs is some tlc and looking after like we have and it should last you at least as long as it as lasted us. I have been truthful regarding this car, as I would want to treat you as I would want to be treated, so can’t be fairer than that, but It will be sold as seen, with no warranties given or implied. I have the v5 as well as the mot certificate and there are 2 sets of keys, although these are worn, I bought a couple of new housings to change them but couldn’t do it myself, but will give you those to do yourself, the keys will then be as new. Only selling as I can’t afford to run her anymore, so sadly she’s got to go. Negs: There are some marks and dinks as would be expected of a car this age with the most noticeable dent in the nearside rear bumper skirt, as in the photo. Hope I have given enough information.
