Solid oak bureau/writing desk. Has been lovingly used since purchase in 1958 Dimensions 84cm wide, 99.5cm high and 27cm deep at the base narrowing to 19cm at the top. Two shelves with sliding doors, ply to the lower and glass to the upper being 29cm high and 24cm deep. The fold down desk is 30cm deep with extra depth (up to 27cm) into the bureau. The item is in original condition with a slight stain on the top which can be sanded out as all the wood is solid oak. The desk part is decorative veneered oak with some small areas of damage but easily repaired. This is a lovely item either to be refurbished back to its original state for onselling at considerable price or as a child's first piece of furniture to store all their own bits and pieces.
