Is this a 'yard of ale' rather than a vase?

I think you'll find this is what is called a 'yard-of-ale' glass. It's filled with beer and the drinker has to 'down in one' without spilling a drop - or pays a penalty. Lots of fun I'm sure though I've never tried it.
