This metal framed futon is a very comfortable low settee, good for lounging. It makes into a very good double bed. The mattress is reversible; black on one side and a rather army-type green on the other. There are signs of wear and fade marks visible on the green side and I have included a close up to show the sort of marks. The mattress has a fire safety label on it. The frame is relatively easy to move, even by one tall person, but the mattress is a dead weight! This futon has been in a pet-free non-smoking house and where food is not allowed on settees or in bedrooms.
