From the picture, I can see that it has a shredder (fine and coarse) but does it have a 'slicer'?

There is another disc underneath I will go and have a look and see if it has a slicer -The three discs according to the book - fine slicing and shredding disc - course slicing and shredding disc and French Fries disc - sorry to be so vague but I have never used them - hope this might help

Sorry meant Coarse slicer and shredder - also it does have an extra small bowl good for whisking egg whites
