This bench is made by an environmentalist (me) and is made entirely from solid reclaimed wood, I never ever buy new wood, we cut enough trees down and I believe beautiful furniture can still be made from unloved and discarded wood. The main bench is made from 1.5 reclaimed doors, the seat is made from old pub bench slats from Chesham and the trim is made from reclaimed boards. Doweled and glued together, all the brown wood has been oiled, giving it a natural charm, painted in chalk paint and waxed for a sheen Sits on brass legs.
