I grow butterfly-like oxalis triangularis here in Crewkerne, using peat-free compost and reused plant pots. They are easy to look after (instructions are provided) and are beautiful to watch grow. They produce delicate pink trumpet-like flowers and the purple colour gets deeper as we get more sunshine. The plant base/ coasters are made from reclaimed bamboo decking from a recent job I did for a client. The plants are £5 each, the coasters are £3 (or £7 for 3 - they look good as a set!). I can deliver for free in and around Crewkerne/ Chard/ Yeovil.
