Beachcomber Bike

This is a robust bike, very reminiscent of Dutch bikes. The riding position is upright, and you have to back-pedal to brake. I pulled a shopping cart along behind it for several years. The bike is fairly heavy and would suit a man or fit woman. I felt that riding it gave me a good work-out, but I was towing the weekly shop for five through Chester once a week, in addition to recreational use. The rear bumper is dented.
