FOR SALE one Apple iMac, early 2009 generation. Owned from new and has had careful home use only. In excellent used condition - see pics. Purchased September 2009 and used until August 2015. Then it rested until now (I had access to a Macbook) but it's time to go to a new home! Upgraded in the following areas: RAM upgraded to 8Gb (standard is 4Gb) Hard disc upgraded to 2Tb (standard is 640Gb) - installed August 2013 Wired mouse upgraded to Apple Magic Mouse (Bluetooth and cordless, 2xAA batteries) Fully working. Has been securely erased and the original OSX (Snow Leopard) installed from the original CD. Apple hardware self-test all passed no problems. The operating system can be upgraded free of charge from the Apple website to El Capitan (OSX version 10.11.6) - simply go to the App store and enter your Apple ID and select the required upgrades. PLEASE NOTE the screenshot of El Capitan is just to show you that it can run that version - you will need to upgrade to El Capitan yourself using your own Apple ID (you don't want a computer tied to someone else's Apple ID!). Complete with Apple wired keyboard, Apple Magic mouse, original mains lead, original installation discs and leaflets, iWorks 2009 and comes in its original box. Although this isn't as quick as the ones you might try out in John Lewis, it is fine for general home working, eg emails, web surfing, photos, word processing, music playing etc, and is a cost-effective way of getting into the OSX experience.
