All the details

I had incredible luck growing milkweed from seed this year. Urban sprawl and increased use of pesticides has brought the beautiful Monarch Butterfly to the brink of extinction. This is the only food the Monarch caterpillar can eat. In recent years, a push to have gardeners plant a few milkweed in their yards. This year, there were more butterflies spotted in Butte County than in the last several years. My plants are all native to this area of California. After the first year, they will need little or no supplemental water. Please consider coming and taking a few plants home. They need to be planted soon. These are hard to find at nurseries and expensive, when you do. I would like to have my pots back. If you can't get them back to me, that is okay. These plants can be toxic to live stock. They usually won't bother it if they have other food. Please think about it.
