Finnforest Log cabin

All the details

23rd JUNE - NO MORE REQUESTERS PLEASE, BUT THOSE WHO HAVE CAN STILL VIEW. THANKS, JIM This is a Finnforest log cabin, constructed with 22mm tongue and groove planks. Ridge height is 2.30m (within planning requirements); max width - i.e. front face 2.98 (to projecting planks), depth i.e. gable end - 2.50m (as before). The front canopy extends 1.2m. Single lockable door; plastic window with shutters, both secure from the inside. The cabin is five or six years old, and suffering from a bit of wet rot in the bottom corners. Roofing has proved completely dry. The edging wood around the roof should be replaced. Internal dimensions approx. 2.75m by 2.20m. The cabin has been used continually, heated and ventilated, as a garden study/office. It will, of course, be emptied prior to removal. It will need some work, but the key thing is that the beneficiary must be competent to dismantle and reassemble. Please note that if you would like the cabin, there are a few conditions. Firstly, if you accept it and start to dismantle you must complete the job and remove it. I can't guarantee the state of it once dismantling starts. Secondly, as I need to use it until close to the arrival of my new cabin, you will need to remove it on the 25th, 26th or 27th of July (or combination). Thirdly, whilst the offer is genuine and this is my cunning plan, things don't always go as expected. If for any reason I need to abort the operation at some point prior, this is not a contract and I reserve the right to withdraw. I don't envisage this happening, the new one is ordered, the new cabin project is underway. Although there is a tight window for the removal, I am happy for you to come and view, more than once if you need to, bring expert opinion, ask questions and so forth. In fact, I won't consider requests unless you come and see it. Can I emphasise again, I want a firm commitment here. You may not be able to take this yourself, so please spread the word to schools, charities, playgroups and the like. It's difficult to get a good photo as I can't get back far enough, so a visit is essential. Thanks for reading this far. Jim
