Two sturdy Parker Knoll recliners on castors – mechanisms no longer smooth – have lasted for years with back and side Dralon covering as new, but not certified fire-resistant, although seat cushions are. They are still comfortable but because of owners’ arthritis and age, the chairs have been replaced by two with powered automatic recline and rise. Signs of heavy use on the seat cushions and arms can be cleaned. Chairs are heavy and collecting them will need two people capable of lifting them.
